Doug Terry, D.D.S., PC
Driven by a desire to help others and inspired by a high school class that introduced him to dentistry, Dr. Doug Terry found his calling early. He saw dentistry as the perfect blend of healthcare, personal connection, and hands-on problem solving—a field where he could improve lives while building lasting relationships with patients.
Dr. Terry earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Arkansas, proudly calling the Hogs along the way. He went on to complete his dental degree at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
Originally born in Fayetteville, Dr. Terry spent his early years in Colorado before returning to Northwest Arkansas at the age of eight. He now considers the area home and is excited to serve the Fort Smith community.
Outside the office, Dr. Terry enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors with his wife and their two dogs, Luna and Ellie. Whether it’s hiking, playing pickleball, or hitting the tennis courts, he believes in maintaining both physical health and strong community connections—especially through his church. He’s also working on learning Spanish to better connect with more patients.
When it comes to dental care at home, his top advice is simple: stick to a routine, brush and floss before bed, and never skip your regular dental visits.
